He is a pillock for sure. I don't think he has bought any kit yet and certainly hasn't done any airsoft and so appears to be a forum jockey. Still, no need to get mad and personal with him, its not worth the raised blood pressure - the moment will pass!
I've told the idiot to just drop it but, he won't let it lie. He keeps pm'ing me in increasingly arsey words. Nah, he did a bit of training proper but got injured so had to drop out, then became a STAB IIRC.
To be honest, I switched off when he was trying to explain it all to me once! I recall he mentioned the cadets as well!

Jon Steele has just 'announced' the idea of an XVIII Corp game (not a training day or anything like that) with an open invite to all and sundry for a date and place TBC without dicussing it within XVIII Corp at all, not even to check dates, or even to find out if that's what they'd like to do.

Why does Gadge always exaggerate? I'm not even sure if he was airsofting then, certainly not reenacting. I've known him for perhaps six years when he was wearing DPM, then Flectarn, then Russian camo and didn't he wear WW2 stuff until we stated CiA! 
Gadge has a habit of "being economical with the truth".
